High Temp (HT) Hot Plate

The standard Hot Plates runs up to 200°C, and includes a Delrin safety guard, which provides a few advantages:-

• Safety cover for the operator, to minimize accidental contact with a Hot Surface
• Physical shield to the heater elements, to prevent any damage to cables and hot plate.
• Helps to minimize heat loss at the edges

The HT system will run up to 250°C, unfortunately a Delrin surround would be damaged at 250°C, so an Aluminium surround is offered with a Peek (high temp plastic) thermal barrier to the casing.
